====== Sheets ======


Under the concept of sheets we understand the type of assortment that is supported both in square meters and in pieces used in production and for commercial purposes. There are several ways to add a sheet to the Modus system. The system records two types of sheets: primary and secondary. Primary sheet occurs in meters, scoundary in pieces and has a definite measure of length in millimeters.

===== Admission of sheets =====

Admission of sheets to the warehouse occurs simultaneously in two units of measure where surface area in square meters is a sum of surface areas of all pieces. The system also records each piece of a given surface area independently.

**To add sheet in the warehouse:**

  - In module **Warehouse** choose **Supplies**
  - Click on **Add** and choose the type of wharehouse admission document 
  - Select (or add new) contractor from which admission occurs
  - Fill the new document window with data you see fit
  - Select existing primary sheet or add new one
  - Select the sheet and enter its price
  - On the list on the left click on **Add**
  - Select mesure unit and enter length and width of a single piece
  - Enter number of admitting pieces
  - Click on **Approve and add next** (repeat)
  - After adding all secondary sheets click on **Cancel** and approve the document

<note tip>When adding a new primary sheet you need to enter its net and gross weight. Thanks to this, by adding secondary sheets system will calculate their mass.</note>

Through this operation, in the assortment module assortment card will be created for the primary sheet and in the Stock module additionally appear assortment cards for secondary sheet. 

Assortment card for the secondary sheet can also be created manually without adding it to the warehouse. To accomplish this:

  - In **Warehouse** module choose **Assortment**
  - Select sheet you want to create the secondary sheets
  - Click on **Pieces** tab
  - Click on **Add**
  - Select measure unit and enter its length and width
  - Click on **Approve and add next**

<note tip>The code of the new assortment is created based on the name of the primary sheet the length and width of the sheet expressed in millimeters</note>

Aditional option for adding a sheet is to import it from Excel. To do that:

  - In **Warehouse** module choose **Stock**
  - Click on **View**
  - Select **Import pipe/sheet**
  - Choose Excel file from which the import will be conducted
  - Pair colums from Modus with Excel
  - Click **Import**
