====== ASSORTMENT RESERVATIONS ======
It serves for blocking the release or sale of the assortment by other users. Reserved assortment reduces the available stock by the reserved quantity.  

===== DESCRIPTION OF WORK =====
Reservation of the specific amount of assortment is conducted by issuing a proper document. Following documents can reserve the assortment:  
  * warehouse release documents located in the scratchpad,
  * documents concerning orders from suppliers,
  * release for production,
  * documents concerning the reservation for production.

== SCOPE OF ACTION ==
Reservation concerns only the **cataloged assortment** (services and uncatalogued assortment is not reserved). Items produced individually are the exception. Every variant is assigned to the contractor from the moment of confirming the order from the customer.

Reservations take place **in the warehouse**, where the document was issued. They move into **available stock** of the particular warehouse.

== FULL AND PARTIAL RESERVATION ==
Depending on the document type, reservation can have a partial or full character. If the document allows for the partial reservation, then it is possible to issue the document at any time, no matter of the assortment's availability in stock. If the document does not allow for the partial reservation, then the document can not be issued when the available stock is lower than the amount of the indicated specification. Documents that allow for partial reservation are the orders from customers and reservations for production. Warehouse release notes do not allow for partial reservation.

== MANUAL AND AUTOMATIC RESERVATIONS ==
The assortment reservation can be proceeded in two ways: manually or automatically. Manual reservation is conducted at the request of user's demand. At any time the user can reserve the assortment or quit the reservation. Manual reservation is available **only** for the documents concerning orders from suppliers and reservation for production documents. According to assortment settings related to the [[en:podrecznik:magazyn:partie#RESERVATION AND ASSORTMENT RELEASE FROM PARTICULAR BATCHES|warehouse batches ]] reservation can be conducted automatically or manually. Automatic reservation is made when:
  * the warehouse release document is issued (lack of the partial reservation option);
  * the warehouse supply is confirmed; assortment's receipt into stock activates the search of all documents with the selected option of automating and partial reservation as well as reservation of the lacking amount on these documents (until the stock-out). Reservation is conducted in chronological order (from documents registered as the latest).
 
== ON-TIME RESERVATION==
Additional option available **only** for documents concerning reservation for production, is the on-time reservation. If the documents have the option of the on-time reservation, then after the expiry date all the  reservations on the particular document will be canceled. If the document was arranged as the automatic reservation note, then the reservation type will be changed into **manual**.

== RESERVATIONS BY USING THE PRODUCTION RELEASE NOTES ==
Until the moment when the production release document is in the scratchpad, it reserves the assortment in the warehouse, similarly to the warehouse transfer document. At the moment of its confirmation, the assortment is transferred into the Production warehouse, additionally this assortment is reserved for the products/commission on the basis of the production release document generation. Reservation is automatic and independent from the chosen reservation type (manual/automatic).

== CANCELING OF RESERVATION ==
It can be conducted manually, on the user's request or automatically. Manual reservation canceling is realized by the function "Cancel the reservation" and it is available only for the documents which allow for the manual reservation.

Automatic reservation is realized in the following cases:
  * cancellation of the reservation document - it brings about the cancellation of all reservations;
  * confirmation of the warehouse release document - it brings about cancellation of the reservation and a simultaneous assortment release;
  * the reservation date expired;
  * order realization from the customer through issuing of the release/sales document concerning this order - it results in the reservation cancellation on the order document and the transfer into the destination document; available stock does not change;
