It is a window, which size can be adjusted to the personal needs. It can be expanded or contracted with the help of mouse (the cursor should be on the edge of the window. By holding the left button, move the cursor) You can also maximize it to the size of the program's window (by using the button on the top bar of the window). == If the whole list does not fit in the window, then the scroll bars are displayed: == * horizontal - at the bottom of the list; * vertical - on the right side of the list. ** Scrolling the list takes place by using the following buttons:** * scrolling the list to the left * scrolling the list to the right * scrolling the list upward * scrolling the list downward ===== Windows of the list type ===== there are the following windows of the list type: __**Helper choice window**__ - usually it is displayed from the other window by using the List button. It has Choose and Delete buttons. * Choose - information with the selected items on the list will be transfered to the previous or the next window. * Delete - resignation from the action; it closes the window. Choice of an item from the list of this type can be made by using: * the mouse: * left-click on the specific item from the list and click the Choose button; * double left-click on the adequate item; * the keyboard: * select the appropriate item by using the "ARROWS" and click on the ENTER key; * select the item by using the "ARROWS", and next następnie po przejściu klawiszem TAB wskazanie przycisku Wybierz oraz naciśnięcie klawisza ENTER. __**Individual window**__ - fitted with the button Close, that closes the window. In the program, there are also windows of the list type, that have buttons only on the toolbar. These are the main windows of the individual modules. They often consist of more than one list, e.g.: * **window of the Deliveries module consists of two windows of the list type: a superior list and a subsidiary list.** The superior list is in the upper part of the module's window and includes general information related to the receipt documents. The subsidiary list that is at the bottom of the module's window, on the tab Specification, includes information about the position of the document chosen from the superior list. Correlation between these two lists - change of the chosen document on the superior list causes the change of elements on the subsidiary list, i.e. positions of a document on the subsidiary list are always visible. zawsze pozycje dokumentu aktualnie wskazywanego na liście nadrzednej. ++++ Screen: Window of the list type: superior and subsidiary| ++++ * **Window of the Production module consists of two superior lists and two subsidiary lists** Two superior lists are in the upper part of the program's window, and the subsidiary ones in the bottom part. Subsidiary list is always below the superior list, and informs about details. Correlation between the subsidiary and superior lists is analogical to the correlation in the module Deliveries. In the module Production there is also one correlation of lists: the superior list no. 2 from the superior list no. 1 and the other way round. It consists in transferring the information about the ordered product (superior list no.1) to the production schedule (superior list no. 2) by using the button Plan. The opposite of this correlation consists in withdrawal of the product form the production schedule (only in case when the production was not completed!) and placing the information o about the product in the w orders, by using the the button Delete. ++++ Screen: Window of the list type: two superior and two subsidiary lists| ++++ ===== Function of windows of the list type ===== Functions related with the list are available for the user as a **context menu** and a **toolbar**, about which you can find more information here. Context menu appears after right-clicking on the chosen position. Context menu has the following functions: * en:podrecznik:modus:okno_glowne#Add a record * Edit a record * Clone a record * Delete a record * History of record * Refresh the current record * Refresh the view - updating the view by downloading the information from the data base once more. This function is especially useful, when many users work on the program. * Adjust the view: * Search engine * Summaries * Grouping panel * Adjust the width of columns - it adjusts the columns' width in such a way to show all the columns and evenly display them in the window. * Save the layout as default (from version 2.1, the layout is saved automatically and this function does not exist) * Wrap text - if the text does not fit in the cell, it will be extended, and the content will be rolled up in the following rows. * Bind cells - if sorting was used, then the cells that have the same values in the following records will be binded in one cell (for the columns that take part in the cell sorting). ++++ Screen: Context menu | ++++ Window of the list type is fitted in the toolbar. A lot of options from the context menu are available in the toolbar. Choice of position from the list is made by left-clicking on the specific position or by using the keyboard - select the position by using "ARROWS". ==== Adjusting the view ==== The View tool gives the possibility of defining the view of the program's grid. Program has a function of memorizing: * visible columns, * the order of columns, * the width of columns, * direction of the columns' sorting, * colors of the cells, The user can drag and drop columns in order to facilitate the work with the program. Reposition of columns is possible only by using the mouse. By using the mouse you can also change the size of columns. Record settings are saved in the configuration filesw. Their localization is defined in the administrator panel of the ModusAdmin, in the section **Settings**, where you can find '**Access path to the configuration files**': If it is a mapped network resource, you have to make sure that user of the operating system has an access to this localization.\\ You should also make sure that the logged-in user has the right to use the folder. ++++ Screen: Access path to the configuration files | ++++ ==== F3 Search Engine==== After choosing this option, below the area of column titles, a new area will appear. In the case of the field with a date, after unrolling the menu, the calendar will appear. There you can establish a date. The date can be also entered manually, but remember about the format (yyyy-mm-dd). (Grouping Panel) By dragging and dropping the columns' into this area, you automatically group these columns according to their size. Nested grouping is possible, e.g. according to the contractor and then according to the date of document's issuing. By dragging the columns' titles that are in the grouping panel, you can change the order of grouping. After grouping, the list has got a structure of a tree, which elements can be unrolled/rolled up by clicking +/- accordingly. Columns, according to which grouping was automatically made, are removed from the list. They can be brought back by using „Showing/hiding columns" or dragging them from the list of inactive columns. ++++ Screen: Grouping| ++++ ++++ Screen: Adding columns| ++++ ==== Summaries ==== By choosing this option, a box with a summarized number of elements will appear on the list.
