DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE VERSIONS OF THE FIREBIRD'S DATA BASE SERVER

During the installation, the Firebird's database server enables you for making a choice of the mode, in which it should work. The choice of the appropriate option should be made depending on the hardware you have. Information about differences between individual versions can be found in the documentation of the Firebird's server:

After the installation of the proper version of the server, additionally you have to make configuration by editing the configuration file firebird.conf
(a default localization of the file is here C:\Program Files\Firebird\Firebird_2_5)
