Planning of transport

Having your own fleet of vehicles, through the module Transport you can plan the transport of the ordered assortment for the recipient.

The main window of the submodule Planning is divided into two parts:

• On the left side there are tabs - Orders and Balances that include the assortment list that was ordered but not yet realized (on the Order from the recipient there is lack of the Realization status) and the list of inventory balances.
• On the right side there are consignment lists. From this level, creation of new lists and the control of the transport proceeding take place.

By using the tab Orders you can plan the transport of the ordered assortment, and it does not have to be produced yet. To facilitate the transport planning, by entering the order from the recipient, you can choose the route of delivery. A chosen route is visible in the tab Orders, next to each ordered assortment. On the basis of this information, on the consignment list you can easily place the assortment designed for recipients located on the specific route.

The module allows you also planning of the assortment's transport that is in the warehouse. For this purpose use the tab Balances.

In order to plan and realize the transport, you have to:

1. create a new consignment list,
2. add the assortment to the list, that has to be transported
3. if you plan the transport on the basis of the order, it is necessary to reserve this particular assortment on the Order from the recipient,
4. click on the Shipment to generate warehouse document,
5. confirm the generated document of the warehouse release,
6. click on Departure to record the vehicle's departure,
7. click on Return to record the the vehicle's return.

In order to create the consignment list:

1. In the module „Transport” choose „Planning”,
2. In the window „Consignment lists” click „Add”,
3. Choose a route that of delivery,
4. Choose a vehicle,
5. Confirm the created consignment list.
6. In the window „Orders” select an order that should be added to the consignment list, (by holding the Ctrl key it is possible to select many orders at once),
7. Enter the quantity of assortment and click „Plan”.

Chosen orders will be added to the consignment list.

As the loading warehouse you can select any of the warehouses that were defined in the Modus system. For this purpose:

1. in the module Warehouse choose Warehouses
2. select the warehouse, which options you want to change,
3. click Edit,
4. select the option Loading warehouse

Consignment list can be also created from the level of the production planning module. For this purpose:

1. in the module „Production” choose „Planning 2”.
2. choose the production order related to the product, which transport you are going to plan.
3. Click „Plan the transport for the order items”.
4. Choose the route that of delivery.
5. Choose the vehicle for transport.
6. Confirm the created consignment list.
