This tab allows you for defining the purchase price/prices of the assortment. After defining the prices and price lists, at the time of adding a new order, the sale prices of the ordered assortment are suggested.
In order to define many prices for the assortment, you have to define price lists earlier. Entered prices will be used during creation of documents. After choosing the specific price list, the defined price will appear on the document.
In case of products made in different variants (products that are defined at the stage of placing an order) actualization of the sale price on the virtual product (template) does not actualize the prices of the variants. Modus does not offer such an automated technology, because in most cases the sale prices of individual variants are different - it results from different materials used for production. In every firm, various algorithms are used. Solution for this issue are so called price groups. If sale prices are not used, you have to actualize them in the tab Variants on the assortment list or from the Inventory balances (zero state has to be selected).
The sale price can be defined in two ways:
++++ Screen: Defining the sale price of the assortment (First way) |
++++
++++ Screen: Defining the sale price of the assortment (II way)|
++++
The sale price of a product that makes up the variant can be defined:
System can also automatically define the sale price on the basis of the purchase price. For this purpose you have to activate the option Price actualization - Automatic (fixed margin). In this configuration, after confirmation of the goods received note, the system automatically updates the sale price of the received assortment encompassing:
Examples of use:
| sale price | margin | round number | correction | sale price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 Cu | 50% | 0,01 | 0 | 1,5 Cu |
| 1 Cu | 50% | 1 | 0 | 2 Cu |
| 1 Cu | 50% | 1 | -0,01 | 1,99 Cu |
Regulations require the prices to be rounded to two decimals on the documents. Therefore, the prices in the system expressed in this precision. If the need arise, the round to two decimals is performed. System does not allow for the change in this area.
A change of the precision in sale prices entered to the price lists is possible. For this purpose:
As mentioned before, the regulations require the prices to be rounded to two decimals on documents, independently of the price on the price list, on the document the numbers will be rounded. The solution in this case is defining the subsidiary unit of measure, e.g. a package of 10 items (and using it during the release).
A cap - sale price 0,001 Cu for one item
Aim: release of 100 items of caps
In the default configuration of the system, at the time of entering the price 0,001 to the price list, the round-off 0,00 is made. Therefore you have to increase the precision of sale prices, e.g. to four decimal places and to increase the round-off precision (the way was showed above).
If you create the subsidiary unit of measure for the caps, e.g. 1kg = 100 items, the release will be possible:
