Card - Creator of a new assortment

Assortment not controlled in the warehouse means that it is not necessary to include it in the inventory balance in order to be delivered or used for the production but its value will be taken into consideration. Such assortment does not require information about quantity and its usage does not cause disappearance from the inventory balance.

Such definition is used for the assortment which total value is inadequate to the means which are devoted to his control and flow. Decision whether the assortment does not have to be controlled in the warehouse takes place at the stage of creating the assortment. There is no possibility of the assortment change from controlled by the warehouse into not controlled and the other way round. Not controlled assortment can be implemented into the system by delivery documents, its value, wear and tear in the production. If the assortment is not fetched from the warehouse, system does not require its availability during production.

Modus enables the service of returnable packages, in which the products are packed. In order to register returnable packages and control over distributed packages, it is necessary to sign the assortment as the package and defining the pattern according to which the products are packed. Production group of the material

During defining a new material, in the box Production group choose whether it belongs to production group of materials (possible to which one). The production group of materials has got a significant importance at the stage of defining PRODUCTS FORMULAS, because the production group of materials can serve as a component. VIRTUAL FORMULA

During defining a new product, in the box Production group choose to which Group of products it belongs to. (if there is more than one group of products).

By creating the product's card that belongs to the group of products made up of families, additionally you have to choose the Family and the Element. Information about the families and elements you can find here

Warehouse group is a tool for the assortment's classification, materials created for the warehouse manager. You can create warehouse groups and assign to them, e.g. a part of the assortment or materials. How to create/assign a warehouse group?

A product can be assigned to the warehouse group during the creation of a new assortment.

1. In the module Warehouse choose Assortment,
2. Click on the icon Add,
3. In the window of the new assortment's creator in the part that relates to the warehouse group, click on Choose from the list,
4. Choose the already existing group or click on the button Add in order to create a new one.

Warehouse groups can be also defined as follows:

1. from the menu Index cards choose Warehouses, and next Warehouse groups,
2. Click on Add,
3. If you want to create a subgroup, indicate in group it is located,
4. If you want to create a main group, delete the primary group,
5. Enter the name of the group/subgroup.

Warehouse group of the product can be changed at any time in the window of the assortment's edition. ++++ Screen: Change of the Warehouse group| ++++

Each type of assortment should have a basic unit of measure (kg, item, mb). Such a unit comprises a basic unit of measure. It is used in formulas and in the production process. The system enables you for creating individual units of measure. For this purpose:

1. In the menu Index cards choose Warehouses, and next Units of measure.
2. Click on Add.
3. Define the symbol and description of the added unit of measure.

In the Modus program you can create features of every assortment of the material or product type (e.g. flavor, color, consistency). In this way, you do not have to create, e.g. a new assortment for each color. The program creates it for you on the basis of features.

After selecting the option „Assortment has features” the window of choice „groups of features” becomes active, from which you can choose a specific group of features for the assortyment.

After selecting the option „Assortment has features”, the program creates as many types of a product or material as there are features in the specific group of features. The products appear in the inventory balances.
