Employees (wersja 2.2)

Employees

From version 2.2 the Modus system enables you for conducting records of employees that include such information as:

To add a new employee:

  1. In the module Employees choose a submodule Employees.
  2. Click on Add.
  3. Choose a group to which the employee belongs and fill it in. Employee's Card.

It will allow you to settle accounts with employees. Every employee has got a unique bar code, therefore the identification of the worker is possible, as well as the completed tasks that they performed.

Settle accounts

the function generates a printout of settlement of the chosen employee for a specific period of time. For this purpose:

  1. In the module Employees choose a submodule Employees.
  2. Choose the employee for whom you want to print the settlement out.
  3. Click on Settle accounts.
  4. Choose the period for which you want to settle accounts.

The basis for the settlement of the employee for a performed work constitutes of the earlier defined Time rates for operations and Piece rates entered in the formulas of products, as well as in the Hourly rates of employees. Any changes will relate to new orders.

Depending on the system's configuration, the settlement consists of products after completion (concerning the stage performed by an employee) or after the completion of the whole process of production. Change of settings does not affect the proceeding and the registry of the production process. Modification of settings modifies only the data that is used for the settlement. Therefore, settings can be changed and, e.g. a chosen number of employees can be settled after finishing the stage, and the other ones after finishing the production.

Change of settings, in this case is performed from the level:
Index cards/Configuration/Global settings/Production/Employees/Settling accounts with the employee

Identity card

This function enables you for printing the identity card for the employee. It includes his/her identity number in the form of a bar code, that can be used in the production process, when working on the production terminal that is equipped with the bar code scanner. The printout can be made on the printer of labels, according to the defined template that can be edited. Information about how to edit or create a new template you can find here.

In order to print out the identity card:

  1. In the module Employees choose the submodule Employees.
  2. Choose an employee, for whom you want to print out the identity card.
  3. Click on Identity card.
  4. Choose the period for which you want to settle accounts.

Groups of employees

In the program you can create groups of employees, to which you can assign individual workers. Defining the groups of employees, it is necessary to specify the production technology, because workcells, on which individual stages of production are conducted, are related with the groups of employees. Subsequently, actual workers may be assigned for specific products within a type of production cell to which they belong. More about assigning employees here.

In order to add a new group of workers:

  1. In the module Employees choose the submodule Employees,
  2. Choose the tab Groups of employees,
  3. Click on Add,
  4. Enter the name of a group,
  5. In the tab Employees the list of workers is displayed that belongs to the specific group.

Settle accounts

The icon generates the printout of the employees' settlements that belong to the selected group for the specific period. For this purpose:

  1. In the module Employees choose the submodule Employees,
  2. Choose the tab Groups of employees,
  3. Choose the group of employees, for whom you want to print out the settlements,
  4. Click on Settle accounts.
  5. Choose the period, for which you want to settle accounts.

The basis for the settlement of worker for the performed work are the Time rates of an operation defined earlier and Piece rates entered in the formulas of products, as well as hourly rates of employees. Any changes will relate to the newly received orders.

Piecework groups

Regardless of the existing groups of employees, the program allows you for creating piecework group, to which you can assign employees who are allocated to different types of technological workcells, that are assigned to different technological operations. Piecework groups can be assigned to the realizations of individual products as well as the whole production orders. Information about the assignment of piecework groups to the products and production orders can be found here.

In order to create a piecework group:

  1. in the module Employees choose the submodule Employees,
  2. Choose the tab Piecework groups,
  3. Click on Add,
  4. Enter the name and the identity card of the group.
  5. In the tab Assigned employees a list of the employees who belong to the specific group is displayed.

From the version 2.2, an employee as well as a piecework group can be logged on to the production terminal.
