Edit a produced quantity (Correction of the produced quantity)

Program has got a function of a produced quantity correction with automatic calculation of the used materials. This option allows you for defining the produced quantity regardless of the quantity ordered by a contractor.

To make a correction:

1. In the module Production choose Planning,
2. In the production schedule choose a product, which planned quantity for realization is top be changed,
3. Click on Edit,
4. Choose Edit a produced quantity,
5. Enter the produced quantity,
6. Select a material or materials (by holding the Ctrl key), for which you want to define consumption.
7. Define the consumption of all the materials for the inserted quantity of the produced goods. You can do this by selecting a specific material or materials and clicking on Calculate the materials consumption for the selected items (calculation will be made according to the product's formula) or manually for each material by clicking on Edit and give an actual used quantity.

Number of a production order - number of the production order document

Serial number - identification number given to the products at the time of the order confirmation. It identifies one or many products depending on the settings of the default size of the batch.

Planned quantity for production - planned quantity resulting from the production order,

Produced quantity - it allows you for completion of the production in other quantity than it was planned in the production order (in a bigger as well as smaller amount)

Calculate materials consumption for a selected position - this function enables you for calculation of a demand for materials, e.g. after modification of the produced quantity. It is allowable not to calculate the consumption and leaving the materials on the unchanged level, after completion of production with a different produced quantity, e.g when fault goods were created, that are not included in the warehouse, but materials for their production were used and a Goods Issued document is to be generated.

Information about deliveries of materials - this function provides information about the batch from which a reserved material comes from,( if this material has an enabled option of the batch number registry and requires reservation from the batch at a time of the document's creation.

An example of usage:

X company receives from the recipient an order for 1000 items of the specific product, however it wants to order the production for 1100 items, foreseeing the occurrence of faulty products. The aim is to use the materials for the production level of 1100 items, entry into the warehouse of 1056 flawless items of products, sale according to the order of 1000 items, (56 items will remain in stock)

To realize the above operation:

• enter an order, e.g. 1000 items of the product,
• generate a production order for this product,
• confirm the order,
• from the level Production/Planning/Production schedule choose Edit/Edit a produced quantity,
• change quantity, e.g. to 1100,
• select all the materials and click on Calculate consumption of materials,
• after the calculation, change the quantity, e.g into 1056,
• after that, complete the production,
• transfer the products into the appropriate warehouse,
• issue a sales document on the basis of the order from a recipient,
