Features of the assortment

It is a special function. It is used only for actions related to trade in goods. The aim is to facilitate the handling of goods that occur in different variants, e.g. colors. After creating a card of such product, it becomes a virtual product. The system will automatically generate the assortment's cards, depending on how many variants were assigned to the particular group of features. Derived assortments (products) take over the details from the main card. In this arrangement, you can use price modifiers for derivatives. A derivative can also be used as a component of the formula.

For every type of assortment, raw material or product you can create features (e.g. size, color, type). In this way you do not have to create a new assortment for every color. All the variants with specific features will be created automatically.

After selecting the option „Assortment has features” the program creates as many variants of the material/product as many features are in the specific features group on the assortment's card. To assign the features groups to the assortment, you have to create them first. For this purpose:

  1. from the menu „Index cards” choose „WAREHOUSES” and „Assortment's features”.
  2. By using the button „Add” you can create a new group of features. It is enough to insert only its name and confirm.
  3. In the tab „values of the features” you can add new features to every group of features.
  4. Create a new assortment with the selected option „Assortment has features”. Choose a group of features.
  5. In the module „WAREHOUSE/Assortment” in the details window, in the tab „Features” you have got a preview of the features of the specific assortment. You can:
    • add,
    • edit the modifier,
    • edit the assortment,
    • delete features,
    • unpin the features.

Edition of the chosen modifier

Modifier automatically updates the price of each assortment. The price is dependent on the assigned feature. On the basis of the basic assortment's price and the value of modifier for the specific feature, the price of the particular assortment is defined. The modifier can be in a form of percentage, amount or a fixed value.

  • Percentage modifier - in specifying the price of assortment, it modifies the price of the basic assortment according to the defined percent.
  • Amount modifier - in specifying the price of assortment, it modifies the price of the basic assortment according to the defined amount.
  • Fixed value modifier - in specifying the price of assortment, it modifies the price of the basic assortment according to the defined fixed value.

Choose the type of modifier. If you choose the percent modifier, enter the value in percent % in the box „Value of a modifier”.

Assortment, that constitutes the feature cannot be used as the component of formula. It is solely a virtual product, but it is possible to use its derivatives.
