Component value
Settings related to the reservation and the valuation algorithm influence on the order of the released batches, the value of the ready product and the warehouse valuation.
Release from the warehouses can be conducted according to the FIFO method (Reservation from the total amount) or from the chosen batch. Regardless of this setting you have to define a method of valuation that will decide on the price of the product.
If for the assortment, a disbursement and a method of valuation according to FIFO will be defined, a disburement will take place in the prices of the purchase of particular batches. By using other combination of the settings, it can happen that the batches will be released in prices i=other than their purchase price, therefore the value of ingredients[zuzycie_surowcow.„asortyment_wartosc”] will be different from the value of individual btches[partie.„wartosc”]
EXAMPLE:
Setting that relate to the material:
- Reservation only from the total quantity (batches release according to the FIFO method)
- Algorithm of valuation: LIFO
Settings of the product:
- Method of valuation: Cost of production
| Goods receipt 1 | |||
|---|---|---|---|
| batch 1a | 1 item | of the material A | purchase price - 10 Cu |
| batch 1b | 1 item | of the material B | purchase price - 1 Cu |

To production proces there will be used:
- material A:
- from batch 1a (according to the setting reservation only total quantity - FIFO)
- valuated according to the purchase price from PZ3 - 30 zł (according to the accepted valuation algorithm LIFO)
- material B:
- from batch 1b i 2b (according to the setting reservation only total quantity - FIFO)
- valuated according to the purchase price from PZ2 i PZ3 - 2+3 zł (according to the accepted valuation algorithm LIFO)
The final product value is 35 zł despite the fact that the purchase price of the batch used in the production process suggests value 13 zł
