Edit details of an item

The function allows you for a change of the planned quantity for production and division of the batch size. In contrast to the function Quantity for production, that specifies the quantity from the ordered volume that should be planned for production, specify whether the order is to produced as a whole or what part form the planned order will be produced.

In order to divide the batch, it is necessary to suspend the time by all the workers that are making the particular product.
  • Change of the quantity planned for production. The program allows you for diminishing the number of products planned for realization with a particular production order. Difference between the remained quantity on the production order and the quantity ordered by a contractor is again transferred to the window of the production planning.

    In order to make the change of the planned quantity for production:
    1. In the module Production choose Planning,
    2. In the production scheme choose the product, which the quantity planned for realization you want to change
    3. Click on Edit,
    4. Choose Edit details of production,
    5. Insert the quantity that should be produced,
    6. On the production order, the quantity entered for realization will appear,
    7. The remained quantity of the product will appear in the left window of production planning.

  • Division of the batch size - the program allows you for breaking the production order into the production batches with a defined number of items. The function of the batch division was established for the situation when want to transfer a ready made part of the batch to the warehouse, and continue the production, (e.g. lack of the sufficient quantity of materials/a client wants to receive a pat of the order).

    To make a change of the quantity planned for production:
    1. In the module Production choose Planning,
    2. In the production schedule choose a product, which planned quantity you want to break into production batches,
    3. Click on Edit,
    4. Choose Edit details of production,
    5. Enter the number that should be produced and select a checkbox Divide the quantity
    6. On the chosen position, a new quantity will appear and on the remained quantity of the product, the next production batch of the same order will appear.

If from the batch, the equal quantity will be separated from the quantity completed at each stage of the batch, this quantity will be located in the warehouse.
If from the batch, the bigger quantity than will be separated than the quantity completed at each stage, the batch will be divided, and on the list of products there will be two positions with the same serial number.

In situation when two batches with the same serial number exist, by working on the terminal you can not identify the batch with the help of a scanner. In such a case, registry of the production of this assortment is possible after finding and selecting this assortment on the list.

Division of a batch, for which the correction of materials' consumption was made

In a situation when a specific part of the batch was produced, but different number of materials was used for production, and consequently a correction of materials' consumption was made, a whole correction relates only to the part of the batch that is produced and separated.

Example:

  • production of 100 items of the product was planned (formula about the demand of 1 kg of a material for 1 item of a product)
  • after manufacturing of 10 items, it occurred that:
    • for the production process, a higher amount of the material was used (for 10 items should be 10 kg, but additional 10 kg was used),
    • 10 produced items should be transferred into the warehouse,
  • for this purpose, in the system you should:
    • make a correction of the material consumption by increasing previous 100 kg by additional 10 kg,
    • divide the quantity of the batch (by entering 10 items),
  • as a result of performed actions, two batches will be separated with a demand:
    • of 10 items (first batch) - a demand (10 kg of the material + 10 kg resulting from the correction)
    • of 90 items (second batch) - a demand (90 kg of the material according to the formula and proportionally to the quantity of the product).
