Card - New group of products

The card New group of products enables you for defining the parameters of the Group of products. Information about adding new groups of products you can find here.

By defining the cars of group of products, you have to select appropriate options:

Features of products

• cataloged products ('whole production ) - Modus allows for completion of the production commission in two ways:
  • selected option - Goods issued note for materials and Goods received note for products are generated. The product increases the inventory balance, and after that it can be released.
  • deselected option - an External release note for materials is generated. The product is virtual and is not included in the warehouse. On the basis of the External release note, you can issue a sales document on which there will be items (according to the formula of the product).
• products ordered in sets
• products defined at the stage of order – Modus makes it possible to define virtual products, which components are not only specific materials, but also production groups of materials. Then, at the time of entering the order from a receiver, the user asked for selecting a particular material from the specific group, and the Modus system generates so called product's variant with its precise formula.

Status of a group

• products belong to the price groups - more information you can find here.
• occurrence of families and elements – the program enables you for the production of products according to the group of products formed of families that include specific elements. The family can consist of the set/collection. An element is a type of the manufactured product, e.g. an armchair or a pouf. After selecting this option, two additinal tabs are displayed (Families, Elements) in which you have to define the lists of Families and Elements that will be available at the time of defining an assortment.
  If the product belongs to a group consisting of fsmilies, a list of products in filtered for the chosen combination of families and elements. Otherwise, a whole list of products from this group is displayed.
