Serial numbers

The icon is designed for printing labels of a product that includes, among others a serial number. It is possible to define many templates of labels that differ in, e.g. a range of presented data or a size. These templates comprise a list that appears after clicking on the function
Serial numbers.

If several templates were defined, a user had to make a choice which template he/she wants to use.

You can print out a label from many levels:
  • from the Modus:
    • Production module/Planning/Production schedule
    • Production module/Planning 2/List of production orders
    • Production module/Production orders
    • Orders module/Archive
  • from a production terminal
    • details/Printouts
    • automatically, after completion of the stage (with appropriately defined settings of the production terminal, a label can be printed out automatically according to a default template - Index cards/Configuration/Computer workstations/Production workstations/ options: 'Print out a label after completion:' and 'Use a template')

In case of the automatic printout, it is possible to define a default template's printout for every production workstation.
To print out a label:
  1. Go to the module, from which you want to make a printout (e.g.: Production module/Production orders)
  2. Choose a production order, for which you want to make a printout of label,
  3. Click on Serial numbers,
  4. If the list of defined printable templates appears, choose the one, that you want to use.

A printout can be realized on the printer of labels, according to a defined template, that can be edited.

Default label of a product

Including the version 2.2, in order to print out different labels of various products, you had to choose manually an appropriate template for each product.
In version 2.3 in the index card, a function of defining a default template of a label was made available (serial number) for a product. Thanks to this function, the system will automatically print out a template appropriate for the particular product.

A label can be assigned only to the assortment of the Product type, a w przypadku wariantowości do produktu nadrzędnego (wirtualnego)

If you do not modify a default template in the index card of a product, then the action will remain without changes - during the label's printing, you can select:

  • a concrete printable template that should be used,
  • a default printable template ( one of templates has got a default status. Information about how to set another template as default, you can find here)

For every printable template of a label, you can define a separate printer, on which the particular label is to be printed.
