Objects

Sub-module is used to record objects and related information. It presents a list of defined machines, tools, hardware and buildings. For each object, it is possible to define a list of service activities related to its service.

In Modus system objects can be sorted by:

• machine
• hardware
• tool
• building
• others

Additionally, each object can be linked to:

• type
• groupe
• production line
• production cell

In order to add new object:

1. In module Maintenance choose Objects,
2. Click on Add,
3. Fill out New object tab

By editing the object card additional tab will be displayed containing list of actions tied with the object.

In order to add the action to the object tab:

1. In module Maintenance choose Objects,
2. Select object for which you want to define a new action,
3. Click on Edit,
4. Go to Actions tab,
5. Click on Add,
6. Fill out Action editing tab.

Import function allows Import function enables automatic introduction of the system supplies files based on information contained in properly prepared spreadsheet file (xls file).

(import of objects and parts)

In order to import the objects:

1. In module Eam choose Objects
2. Click on Import
3. Indicate files location
4. When selected The spreadsheet field will be supplemented
5. In the Import configuration, clicking on each line in the Excel column assign Excel columns to the Modus columns.
6. After assigning a system you can save by entering a name in the Save As field and click Save. In the future, for a file of identical system of columns instead of assigning the columns will be able to load a system from the list.
7. Click on Validate, to obtain information on whether the import to file is properly prepared and whether the data will be imported. For example, if in one field introduces too many characters, in the results tab proper information will be displayed. In this case the import window can be closed, and the file edited. You can also select Trim your text boxes to their maximum length to allow imports.
8. Click on Import
9. Result of import will be displayed
10. Click on End.

You can specify the object parameters specific to his group:

1. In module Maintenance choose Objects
2. Select object for which you want to specify the characteristics
3. Choose the Specification tab
4. Choose characteristic you want to specify - if the characteristics list is empty you have to define it (Maintenance/Dictionary/Objects group/Editing/Add characteristic)
5. Click on Edit
6. Enter characteristic

- Go to: Maintenance/Dictionary - Choose Group of objects - Select chosen group and click on Edit - In the group of objects editing window click on Add - Enter the definition of the characteristics and confirm

Allows you to assign an object supplies. In order to define consumable object:

1. In module Maintenancechoose Objects
2. Choose object you want to specify consumable object
3. Go to Parts tab
4. Click on Add
5. In Assortment list window choose consumable object for which you want to add to object or click on Add in order to create new assortment card (remember to select „Is consumable object” option).

Allows you to assign employees to the facility together with an indication for which it is responsible. Additionally, you can authorize an employee to receive e-mail notifications about the reported failure of the device. To make this possible on employee card (w zakładce dane osobowe) It must be entered information about the employee's email address.

List of supplies issued for particular object. More information about issuing consumables you will find here.

In order to check issues of consumables connected to selected object:

1. In module Maintenance choose Objects
2. Select object for which you want to check the list of issued consumables
3. Select Obtained parts tab

List of newly registered failure for the machine. By clicking on add you can generate new notification. Notifications can also be generated in module Notifications.

List of ordered services for particular device. By clicking add you can generate new order. Orders can be also generated in module Orders.

List of counters for particular object. By clicking on add you can add new counter for the object.Counters can be added also in moduleCounters.

List of counters for particular object. Readings can be added in module Counters.

List of object subtitutes

List of services tied to particular object. By clicking Add, you can add a service associated with the object.

List of items included in the object

List of actions assigned to object

History of issues/returns of given object (eg. renting to other firm)

The costs of repair, overhaul object

List of attachements for object (eg. pictures, aditional data)
